Which end of Belmont Harbor are the yachts?

The Windy City Sailing yachts are at the North end of Belmont Harbor. Belmont Harbor is on the North Side of Chicago, 5 miles north of downtown.

Our Vessels are on the “G” dock. The address to the North End of Belmont Harbor is 400 W Belmont Harbor Dr, Chicago, IL 60657.  Please use this address for Uber, Lyft, GPS, and Taxi Services.

Directions to Belmont Harbor from the North

Take Lake Shore Drive and exit at Irving Park. Make a left under Lake Shore Drive. Follow Recreation Drive south for approximately 1 mile. You will see the harbor on the right-hand side. We are on G dock.  The address to the North End of Belmont Harbor is 400 W Belmont Harbor Dr, Chicago, IL 60657.

Directions to Belmont Harbor from the South

Take Lake Shore Drive to the Recreation Drive exit between the Belmont and Irving Park exits. After exiting Recreation Drive, turn right at the stop sign and head south for about a quarter-mile. You will see the harbor on the right-hand side. We are on G dock.  The address to the North End of Belmont Harbor is 400 W Belmont Harbor Dr, Chicago, IL 60657.

Directions to Belmont Harbor from the West

Driving West (towards Lake Michigan) on Irving Park Road,  proceed under Lake Shore Drive. Follow Recreation Drive south for approximately 1 mile. You will see the harbor on the right-hand side. We are on G dock.  The address to the North End of Belmont Harbor is 400 W Belmont Harbor Dr, Chicago, IL 60657.

Where can I park my car?

Paid parking from the City of Chicago is available for $14.00 per day. An automated system at the parking kiosk accepts cash or credit cards. Please keep in mind that the parking lots are full by the morning on event days like the 4th of July Fireworks and the Chicago Air and Water Show.  It’s best to park on the East side of Lake Shore Drive and use the pedestrian access tunnel.

Uber, Lyft, Taxi and Limo Drop Offs

Drop off is at the City of Chicago parking kiosk, with a short walk to “G” dock. Our captain and crew will meet you at G Dock.
